BULL VALLEY
Mike Moon: Bull Valley has come from nowhere to make a grab at the title of best sprinter in the land in the space of six weeks. His impressive win in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint on Saturday came off the back of an equally good performance in the Grade 1 Tsogo Sun Sprint in late June.
TRIP TO HEAVEN
Jack Milner: Sean Tarry and Chris van Niekerk are not the only people who will be hoping Trip To Heaven can finally crack a Grade 1 victory in Saturday’s Mercury Sprint over 1200m at Greyville.
Jack Milner: Sean Tarry’s coupling of Trip To Heaven and Bull Valley have been priced up at 7-2 and 4-1 respectively to win Saturday’s Grade 1 Mercury Sprint over 1200m at Greyville.
BULL VALLEY
Jack Milner: Bull Valley, winner of the Tsogo Sun Sprint at Scottsville in May, will be looking for his second successive Grade 1 victory when he lines up in the Mercury Sprint over 1200m at Greyville on Saturday 15 July.
RED RAY
Nicci Garner: Mercury Sprint winner Red Ray will remain in training for another season and, providing he remains sound, will only retire to Klawervlei Stud’s stallion barn for the 2017 breeding season.
