Bad Winter can turn up the heat at Kenilworth

JACK MILNER: BAD WINTER can make a winning comeback after a short rest when he lines up in Race 7 at Kenilworth on Saturday, a MR 96 Handicap over 1200m.

He scored a 1.75-length victory over Reigning Monarch over this course and distance in December and with Yogas Govender churning out the winners at the moment, the short rest should pose no problems.

Fayd’Herbe and Govender have formed a formidable combination and they team up again with this four-year-old gelding.

The obvious danger looks to be decent three-year-old Depardieu, who will be ridden by Karl Neisius. However, he is dropping in distance and will have to give 3.5kg to the older runner.
