Work-rider Samuel “Oupa” Mosia continued his domination of the Workriders’ Challenge at the Vaal on Thursday 20 October, winning two races and earning the R5,000 cheque for the best rider at the meeting.

Mosia won two races, finished second in another three and drew a blank in only three races at the 10-race meeting, the first of three race meetings on the Highveld in a season at which only work riders ride. He scored 49 points with Tshepiso Matsoele second on 21, just one ahead of Francis Semela.

Mosia won the 2015-16 Workriders’ Challenge and if his 28-point drubbing of his rivals is anything to go by, he could well follow up again in the 2016-17 season.
