Bosch filly heads for Victory

Viv Greybe:Dennis Bosch-trained Victory Trip found one better in her last two starts, but is unlikely to miss this time at the Greyville Polytrack on Friday night.

She teams up with Keagan de Melo in Race 8 and main event, a Pinnacle Stakes (F&M) over 1000m

Having her first run in almost four months, this Trippi filly was up with speed throughout and finished a good 1.25-length second on grass at Greyville over 1200m.

Then switched to the Polytrack, she ran on stoutly under 63kg and was only beaten by a neck.

Though stepping up in class, this three-time winner should be up to the task as she will relish having 6.5kg less to carry this time.

However, expect a bold bid from Gavin van Zyl-trained three-time winner Kateecador (Warren Kennedy) who has not been out of the money in her last five starts – two of which were wins.

Also to be included in Pick 6 and Jackpot bets is five-time winner Essenceoflife (apprentice Khanya Sakayi) who has the advantage of the best draw.
