Viv Greybe: Followers of champion jockey Lyle Hewitson could be in for a profitable time on Friday at Fairview where he has a strong book of rides at the Polytrack.
His first strike is likely to come in Race 1 when aboard Yvette Bremner-trained Heart Stone in a 1000m Maiden Plate.
This three-year-old was not disgraced in her most recent outing when switched to turf over 1200m as she was up with the speed and finished fourth.
With the advantage of a favourable inside draw she will be tough to beat over the shorter distance. Next best are Princess Blitz, Little Red Star and King Of Promise.
Hewitson can also deliver in Race 2 when aboard top-rated Coastal Storm out of Bremner’s stable in a Maiden Plate (F&M) over 1200m. However, expect a challenge from the likes of Hidden Power, Jenny Denny and Katasha.
Race 3 has Hewitson teamed up with Sharon Kotzen-trained Finley Hill who will be in warm order in this 1600m Maiden Plate. Others worthy of consideration are In The Navy, Angkor and Give Me Dynamite.
Bremner-trained Believethisbeauty (Hewitson) looks good value in Race 8 and final event, a 1300m MR 66 Handicap over 1300m. Her main rivals are Masterful, Clifton Beach, Chestnut Wild and World Mission.
Champion trainer Alan Greeff and jockey Greg Cheyne are also unlikely to come away empty-handed. They could win Race 6 with Epic Storm and Voices Of Light in Race 7.
