Sunday May 19 – Singapore Preview Kranji – Larry Foley, kranjiracing.com

Some terrific racing on Sunday’s 10-race card and there should be something for everyone including the first leg of the Singapore Golden Horseshoe Series for two-year-olds.

The Inglis Ready2Race Sale Stakes (race 3) has only one horse that has been to the races and given BIG HEARTED won well on that occasion, he will start a short-priced favourite with that winning experience on his side.

However, he has drawn wide and does have 2kg more to carry than the debutantes, which suggests we can look elsewhere for some value.

Obviously good trial form is paramount for the newcomers and WIN EASY certainly showed enough at his Official Trial to win on debut.

The Hinchinbrook 2YO won easily in a good enough time to think he is a smart type and from gate 4 he should have every chance with I Saifudin to ride.

Plenty of others have impressed at the trials with TITANIUM FORCE enjoying a good hit out and YAKETY YAK looking comfortable winning his two trials in albeit slow times.

Elsewhere on the card, KARISTO has hit the ground running in Singapore with excuses on debut before just missing at start two.

The former Kiwi (who arrived via Australia) won over the mile before arriving and looks extremely hard to hold out over that trip in race 9 and one of the better bankers on the day.

Best Bets: (LORD OF CLOUD race 6, win), (KARISTO race 9, win) and (GOLD CITY race 8, value).
Bankers for Jackpots: Race 7 (2, 6, 11 and 12), race 8 (1, 2, 3 and 11), race 9 (2, 3, 4, 6 and 7), race 10 (1, 4 and 8).

Please note the odds listed are “reference odds” only.

Race 1 Selections; 3 SUCCESS COME TRUE – 6 LIM’S HUNTER – 4 TAVITO – 1 SUPER WIN

An unusual Class 5 having both depth and horses with recent solid form in the grade. There is little between the top five chances all having won on the poly in Class 5 at this distance in the recent past. SUCCESS COME TRUE won one of these three starts back for Vlad Duric, his subsequent efforts have been sound and with the leading rider back on he may hardest to beat. The likely danger is SUPER WIN who got the job done in this grade last start; he rises 1kg but Matt Kellady stays aboard and he should get a good run in transit. Amongst the other chances, HEAVENLY HAND won a similar race three starts back, LIM’S HUNTER ran on from well back to win a similar race last start and drops 2.5kg and DARCI’S BOY won over 1100m in this grade last start. Throw in TAVITO with blinkers added as well.

Betting Strategy – SUCCESS COME TRUE small win.

1 SUPER WIN *** Got the job done in this grade last start. Rises 1kg and with Matt Kellady aboard could do so again. 4.50
2 YULONG FIRE * Blinkers off. Drops into Class 5 so could improve but should need longer. Watch market. 50
3 SUCCESS COME TRUE *** Won one of these three starts back and subsequent efforts sound. With senior rider back on should be in the finish. 4.50
4 TAVITO *** Awkwardly drawn but 3kg claim helps as will blinkers. Keep safe. 12
5 LUCK MAK MAK ** Could have finished closer last start in similar affair and could add value to exotics. 33
6 LIM’S HUNTER *** Ran on to win a similar race last start and drops 2.5kg. Poorly drawn but should be closing late. 5.00
7 DARCI’S BOY *** Won over 1100m in a weak one last start. Rises 2.5kg but John Powell stays on and from good gate should be prominent. 5.00
8 HEAVENLY HAND *** Won this class and distance three starts back and subsequent efforts sound. From a good gate can be in the finish again. 5.00
9 CAI POH WANG * Drops back in trip and only win was over longer. 33
10 JK FLASH * Placed at past two outings in weak fields. Still a Maiden and this Class 5 has depth. 25
11 QINGDAO * Resuming after bleeding attack. Tested. 50
12 RACING TALENT * Has struggled of late and gate no help. 33
13 PARKER ** Finds it hard to win but close up at recent outings and could show up from the good gate. 20

Race 2 Selections; 3 SACRED DON – 2 LIM’S DASHING – 4 WHY NOT – 5 YULONG GREEN

A Class 4 of moderate quality may give LIM’S DASHING a chance to win after he ran on to place behind a smart one in SACRED REBEL last start in Class 3. That effort was after having been freshened and with 3kg claim will be closing late again in a Class that suits. The likely danger is SACRED DON who showed promise last preparation winning a KSD over 1400m and has trialled well with blinker-pacifiers on so goes close. WHY NOT won in this Class three starts back over 1000m and has been freshened since suffering interference and being held up in the straight last start; he has speed and should be prominent from good gate. The depth falls away after these, which could help YULONG GREEN who won twice over this distance in UK and is dropping into weaker grade after four Singapore outings, while COUNTRY BOSS is another who has previously won in similar company over this trio and he could improve on recent efforts.

Betting Strategy – LIM’S DASHING win, saver on SACRED DON.

1 OCULIST * Blinkers back on but only battled when resuming. Drops in grade but best form is over longer. 14
2 LIM’S DASHING *** Ran on to place behind a smart one last start in Class 3 after having been freshened. Suited this company and with 3kg claim will be closing late. 4.00
3 SACRED DON *** Freshened with nice trial and looks a progressive type. Can seriously consider with blinker/pacifiers added. 4.00
4 WHY NOT *** In form and traffic excuses not to be in the winning mix last start. Can win from gate 3. 5.00
5 YULONG GREEN *** Not far away at past three starts and can consider in this field with a more positive ride. 8.00
6 COUNTRY BOSS ** Disappointed last start and drawn badly but was showing enough prior to keep safe. 8.00
7 TUSCAN ARTIST * Did nothing when resuming. Needs easier and longer. 20
8 PENNSYLVANIA ** Struggled over 1700m last start after consecutive wins in weaker grade – once over this trip. Might need easier. 20
9 ROMAN CLASSIC * Ran on solidly when resuming but has yet to win in Singapore from 12 starts. Poorly drawn with 4kg claimer and might need easier and longer. 20
10 ATLANTEAN * Has only battled since Maiden win. Has speed and claim helps but needs to find a length or two. 20
11 SILENT BOSS * Won Class 5 over this trip last start but will find this harder. 25
12 MAN OF WORDS * Battled in weaker grade last start following Class 5 win. Well drawn but may find this too hard. 25
13 ZMAN * Needs to improve on recent efforts. 50
14 SECRET SQUIRREL * Looking for easier. 50

Race 3 Selections; 10 WIN EASY – 1 BIG HEARTED – 8 TITANIUM FORCE – 11 YAKETY YAK

The first of the Golden Horseshoe series and BIG HEARTED has jumped the gun by already notching an impressive win on debut against older horses; that experience should stand him in good stead and despite his wide gate, he is the one to beat. In saying that, most of the newcomers have looked good at the trials with the best of them being WIN EASY who did just that at his only local trial. He has drawn well in gate 5 and happy to think he can give a sight and test BIG HEARTED. Of the others, TITANIUM FORCE trials well and should have speed while YAKETY YAK has won both his trials and has to be respected. ZOFFSPEED, ROCKET STAR, MARQUIS BEE and CHARMING DIAMOND all have pedigrees which suggest 2YO success but the market will be the best guide.

Betting Strategy – BIG HEARTED and WIN EASY coupled in any exotics.

1 BIG HEARTED *** By Hallowed Crown. Beat older horses on debut. Has the experience and despite wide gate the one to beat. 2.00
2 CHARMING DIAMOND ** By Showcasing. Half-brother to Listed winner London Express. Poorly drawn but recent good trial suggests he goes OK and stable is in form. 16
3 EMPEROR TAIZONG ** By Arlington. Dam won five races up to 1620m. Shown enough at the trials to include somewhere with gate 2 a factor. 33
4 GOLD RUSH ** By Jimmy Choux. Half-brother to Listed winner Easy Rocking and four other winners. Recent trial quiet but worth thought on what he showed at first trial with gate 1 a factor. 20
5 MARQUIS BEE ** By Epaulette. Dam won twice up to 1900m. Trialled solidly. Watch market. 16
6 ROCKET STAR ** By Star Witness. Hit the line well at recent trial and expect much the same on debut. 16
7 TELL ME * By He’s Remarkable. Half-brother to four winners. Did not show up at trial. Might need longer. 50
8 TITANIUM FORCE *** By Rubick. Dam won four times up to 1690m. Trials well and bred for speed and gate 4 helps. 10.00
9 TRY MAK MAK ** By Mafki. Looked solid when winning Official Trial. 25
10 WIN EASY *** By Hinchinbrook. Dam won four times up to 1400m. Won trial easily and could be hard to hold out debut with support likely. 4.00
11 YAKETY YAK *** By Showcasing. Half-brother to two winners. Looked comfortable when winning both trials in albeit slow times. Watch for support. 16
12 ZOFFSPEED ** By Zoffany. Trials solidly and should have speed. 20
13 MORE THAN OIL ** By Unencumbered. Looked comfortable at recent trial and can consider when he gets a start. 20
14 MASTER SOMMELIER * By Burgundy. Did not show up at trials. May improve with age.

Race 4 Selections; 1 BURKAAN – 2 SPLINTER – 6 LAI MAK MAK – 8 SUPER TALENT

Another Class 4 where the depth falls away quickly. BURKAAN is a promising 3YO in good form winning over this trip last start; the 3kg claim for Simon Kok helps and he should be hard to run down again. The challenge may come from the honest SPLINTER who resumed soundly over this trip, rarely runs poorly in this Class and should be prominent throughout. Of the others, KING ZOUSTAR has been freshened since failing over this trip last start and from the good gate should be prominent, while LAI MAK MAK (formerly LIM’S REFORM) hasn’t won for a while but has been runner-up at four of past six starts and will be closing late. SUPER TALENT, LOOKS GOOD and SOUTHERN DRAGON in exotics.

Betting Strategy – BURKAAN win.

1 BURKAAN *** In good form in this grade winning over this trip last start. Claim helps and should be hard to run down again. 3.00
2 SPLINTER *** Resumed soundly over this trip. Rarely runs poorly in this Class and should be prominent. 4.00
3 KING ZOUSTAR ** Struggled after KSD win last start and has been freshened. Has speed and should be prominent from good gate. 8.00
4 SOUTHERN DRAGON ** Returned a roarer last start after solid effort when resuming. Suited this Class and should be running on. 10
5 HELLO MICHELLE * Resuming. Was struggling last preparation in higher grade and hasn’t won for a long time. Watch market wit visor off. 33
6 LAI MAK MAK *** Was Lim’s Reform. Ran on solidly last start over this trip. Poorly drawn but is due and should figure late. 8.00
7 HIGH LIMIT * Won KSD three starts back but has struggled since. Might need easier. 33
8 SUPER TALENT ** Ran on from a long way back last start. Can improve with a positive ride from better gate. 8.00
9 LIM’S FORCE * Has been freshened after struggling at recent starts. Needs to improve. 50
10 HERO STAR * Has battled since KSD win six starts back. Competitive on his day but might need easier. 33
11 DAVID’S STAR * Won Maiden six starts back but has struggled since. Might need easier and turf. 33
12 LOOKS GOOD ** Caught wide and ran on solidly last start. Has been kept fresh and with no weight could show up from good gate. 10
13 NATURAL IMPULSE * Battling at recent outings. Might need easier. 33
14 MAMAMIA MAMAMIA * Maiden. Can find easier. 50

Race 5 Selections; 10 MR FAT KIDDY – 2 SOLID CASH – 4 GLAMOROUS – 5 STAGESHOW

A maiden of moderate quality where a number have been trying for a while. So who improves enough to win? MR FAT KIDDY is honest but a recent trial good enough to think he can win for his the newly licensed trainer Jason Lim. Blinkers on a Stephen Gray horse also suggests improvement so SOLID CASH from gate 3 with a handy 3kg claim is also on watch. Of those in form that look ready to win, STAGESHOW has been well beaten but has placed at two of three outings, Michael Rodd stays on and from gate one should be handy throughout, while OUR SHOWCASE was run down late over 1600m two starts back so he goes close with Rodd up. GLAMOROUS is another that has been trying for a while but was run down late over this trip two starts back before returning with respiratory issues last start. Market watch on the newcomer CAUSE TO FLY with SUMMER GLITTER, INVICTUS WARRIOR and GINGERMAN in exotics.

Betting Strategy – MR FAT KIDDY each-way and saver on SOLID CASH.

1 CAUSE TO FLY ** Did not place at four starts in Ireland. Trialled soundly locally and gets leading rider. Watch market. 10
2 SOLID CASH *** Has been freshened after three moderate efforts since arrival but gets blinkers and 3kg claim helps. Can win. 10
3 OUR SHOWCASE *** Has been trying for a while but 4kg claim helps back in maiden company and has speed to overcome wide gate. Keep very safe. 6.00
4 GLAMOROUS *** Run down late over this trip two starts back before returning with respiratory issues last start. Can go forward and be prominent. 6.00
5 STAGESHOW *** Well beaten but has placed at two of three outings. Michael Rodd stays on and from gate one should be handy throughout over a more suitable trip. 6.00
6 EASTERN VICTORY ** Resuming after long break but did run on well in similar circumstances first up at his last start. 50
7 RICHIE RICH * Has changed trainers. Yet to place in seven starts. 50
8 GINGERMAN * Ran a career best to just miss last start over this trip in weak Class field for first placing in 19 starts. Poorly drawn and gets 3kg claimer. 10
9 INVICTUS WARRIOR ** Disappointed at Singapore debut over 1200m on poly. Placed twice in Australia over 1400m and 1500m from four starts. May find this more suitable and can improve. 5.00
10 MR FAT KIDDY *** Honest enough and recent trial good enough to suggest he can show up for new trainer. 10
11 COMMAND & CONTROL * Needs to improve on outings to date. 50
12 MA BAO BAO * Has shown nothing to date. 50
13 SUMMER GLITTER ** Ran on last start and may appreciate extra distance. Could show up from good gate. 10
14 HELUSHKA * Needs to improve. 50
15 SUCCESS STREET * Has been freshened and gets blinkers on the back of a solid trial so could improve on poor race form. 100

Race 6 Selections; 1 LORD OF CLOUD – 2 WIJAYA – 3 DUSSELDORF – 9 AWESOME

Another Class 4 of little depth where most don’t win out of turn. LORD OF CLOUD falls in that category but he rarely runs poorly and ran on to figure in the finish over 1100m last start (and jockey queried). The extra distance suits, he should get a good run throughout and gets a chance to break through. DUSSELDORF won consecutive 1200m races four starts back, he made ground over 1100m last start and with Michael Rodd staying on should be closing late. WIJAYA has been freshened and may find this easier than recent outings; he has won three times at 1200m and with a 3kg claim for Simon Kok he should be running on. Of the rest, both WONDERFUL KNIGHT and SUPER DENMAN are racing soundly but both prefer to go forward and are not helped by their gates while AWESOME gets headgear back and he may be a value option on best form.

Betting Strategy – LORD OF CLOUD win.

1 LORD OF CLOUD *** Ran on to figure in finish over 1100m last start. Doesn’t win often but extra distance suits and should get a good run throughout. 3.00
2 WIJAYA *** Has been freshened and may find this easier than recent outings. Has won three times at 1200m and with 3kg claim should be running on. 5.00
3 DUSSELDORF *** Won consecutive 1200m races four starts back. Made ground over 1100m last start and with Michael Rodd staying on should be closing late. 3.00
4 WONDERFUL KNIGHT *** In solid form in similar company but likes to go forward and not helped by the gate. 12
5 SUPER DENMAN ** Not far away from wide gate last start in similar company. Blinkers back on but poorly drawn again. 12
6 DECRETO * Won three starts back over 1100m but has struggled since. Needs to improve. 33
7 SEBASTIAN BACH * Only battled when resuming after long break. Will appreciate extra distance but may need longer again. 33
8 BEAUTIFUL DAY ** Fought hard when resuming for new stable after long break. Showed early promise and only win was at this trip. Can improve. 16
9 AWESOME *** Disappointing last start but gets blinker/pacifiers added on the back of a good trial. Keep safe. 33
10 REIGN * Showed promise when winning Maiden but has struggled since. Gets blinkers and could improve from good gate with senior rider. 25
11 SUPERSONICSURPRISE ** Run down in this Class last start over 1100m. Up in trip and not helped by the gate. 25
12 SMOOTH OPERATOR * Unsighted last start. Has speed but needs 1400m on turf. 33
13 EXTRA WIN ** Won Class 5 two starts back and battled on soundly last start. Gets blinkers and could improve. 20
14 O’REILLY STAR * Needs longer and easier. 50

Race 7 Selections; 2 SUGARTIME JAZZ – 12 GRIDIRON – 11 YELLOW JADE HORSE – 6 GANGNAM CLASSIC

A Class 5 full of non-winners with the exception being the 9YO SUGARTIME JAZZ having his ninety-ninth career start. The old boy has won eight races and ran third over this trip last start; he usually puts in an honest effort in this grade and should be close-up once again. The field is weak so two long-term Maidens in YELLOW JADE HORSE and GRIDIRON can be considered. Both have both drawn well, have speed and could go forward and give a sight. Of the rest, GANGNAM CLASSIC’s only win was on turf but he has placed in similar company on the poly and could show up with Michael Rodd to ride, while FIGHTING WARRIOR’s form is poor but he has won four times, the most recent being this class and distance seven starts back.

Betting Strategy – small win SUGARTIME JAZZ.

1 MY GENESIS ** Showed improvement last start to finish fourth in weak Class 5 over 1000m. Keep safe. 16
2 SUGARTIME JAZZ *** 9YO having start number 99 and has won eight times which is far better than any others in this field. Placed last start over this trip and should be in the finish once again. 3.50
3 D’GREAT COMMAND ** Yet to win in 12 starts but battles away. Tongue-tie back on and blinkers to winkers may help. 16
4 FIGHTING WARRIOR ** Has battled at two runs since returning to Class 5 and gate no help. 5.00
5 GOLDEN COIN * Has changed stables. Needs to improve on recent outings. 33
6 GANGNAM CLASSIC *** Found 1600m too far last start. Placed over 1100m in this grade four starts back and M Rodd helps. 10
7 GIANT KILLING * Needs to improve on recent efforts. 33
8 HOLY GRAIL * Made some ground last start and blinkers off but only win was at 1700m. 33
9 OVER DE TOP ** Has struggled since Maiden win five starts back. Might need longer. 12
10 LUCKY BOY ** Placed four starts back but recent efforts moderate. Class and distance suit but gate no help. 12
11 YELLOW JADE HORSE *** Not far away at recent outings but yet to win in 25 starts. Should be handy from good gate. 6.00
12 GRIDIRON *** 16 start Maiden but has speed and can be prominent from the good gate. 6.00
13 ULTIMATE KILLER * Struggling at recent outings. Needs to improve. 100

Race 8 Selections; 3 GOLD CITY – 2 MAJESTIC EMPRESS – 1 MR DUJARDIN – 11 ALAMAK

Three of the fancies in this Class 4 over 2000m all ran behind Wind Trail over 1800m at their last starts and while ALAMAK placed on that occasion, it may be MR DUJARDIN and MAJESTIC EMPRESS who appreciate the extra 200m today. Both horses got back and ran into traffic on that occasion and given the pair’s most recent wins were at this trip, you would imagine the camps would be confident of a good showing. In saying that, ALAMAK should find the 2000m to his liking and will be prominent throughout with a nice weight from gate 2. But GOLD CITY might beat them all. The 5YO mare hasn’t won for just on a year but her recent form in better company suggests she can get back into the winner’s circle in a race that suits. Keep an eye some value runners in ALLEGRO, CASH IS KING, HAVANA and LARRY, while last start winner, LIM’S RIPPLE, has to be respected.

Betting Strategy – GOLD CITY each-way.

1 MR DUJARDIN *** Traffic excuses for not finishing closer over 1800m last start and hard to hold out over 2000m. 4.00
2 MAJESTIC EMPRESS *** Also had traffic excuses last start over 1800m with best work late and won start prior this trip so goes close. 5.00
3 GOLD CITY *** Hasn’t won for a year but that was in Class 4 and recent form in better company has him having a big say here. 5.00
4 LIM’S RIPPLE ** Returned to winning form last start over 1700m on the Poly but has won this trip and track previously so can follow. 8.00
5 VALUE OF JUSTICE * Drawn the car park and easier to ignore. 50
6 MR DAVID * Coming off a shocker and best run was on the Poly. 33
7 ALLEGRO ** Tested the trip but had some in hand last start and always runs on so could be value. 33
8 LIM’S RHYTHM * Better than what he showed last start and 2000m may suit but may need easier. 33
9 HAVANA ** Yet to show up in Singapore but trip will suit and could get involved earlier from gate 1 with no weight. 33
10 BEBOP ** Yet to win on the turf but handles the surface and honest so worth thought in exotics. 16
11 ALAMAK *** Ran second over 1800m in similar company last start and will figure prominently in this. 5.00
12 CASH IS KING ** Usually seen on the Poly of late but has ran well this trip and track so another to include at value in exotics. 20
13 PRINCE PEGASUS * Only battling. 50
14 LARRY ** Like to see in easier company but honest over this trip and can figure late with lightweight. 20
15 PARTY MAKER * No. 100
16 O’REILLY’S DANCER * Gets blinkers but lost all form. 50

Race 9 Selections; 6 KARISTO – 3 MR EXCHEQUER – 4 STAR JACK – 7 DESTROYER ECLIPSE

A nice enough Class 3 mile with three last start winners in the field, but given they all are stepping up from Class 4 Company, it may be some of those with form in similar affairs that play a part in the finish. KARISTO won over this trip before arriving in Singapore and his two efforts at Kranji suggests he is the horse to beat here with blinkers added for good measure. STAR JACK also looked due prior to having respiratory issues last start and given he loves the mile, he should go close. MR EXCHEQUER has shown at two runs since an enforced lay-off that he is also ready to win and John Powell will give him every chance from gate 4, while DESTROYER ECLIPSE has his foot on the till and should also enjoy a good run from gate 3 with Duric up. Of the three last start winners, AUGUTUS looks the most progressive so can consider, while SOLO SUN and KING’S SPEECH may need easier.

Betting Strategy – KARISTO strong win.

1 WOLF WARRIOR * Will find this easier than the Moonbeam Vase but a serious query on the turf so play with care. 12
2 AUGUSTUS *** Good first up effort to win in Class 4 and mile suits on Australian form so worth following. 6.00
3 MR EXCHEQUER *** Shown more than enough at two starts this campaign to think he is ready to win with the mile ideal. 6.00
4 STAR JACK *** Respiratory excuses last start and form prior good enough to show up over his best trip. 8.00
5 ABSOLUTE MIRACLE ** Lack of winning form a concern but always looks some hope so can include in exotics. 33
6 KARISTO *** Hit the ground running in Singapore and just missed last start. Hard to hold out over the mile with blinkers added. 4.00
7 DESTROYER ECLIPSE *** Placed last start in similar affair and will be hard to hold out with the favours from gate 3. 6.00
8 YULONG XIONG HU * Form better than it reads and this race suits. Value. 33
9 SOLO SUN ** Found winning form on the Poly in Class 4 but has won on the turf and should be competitive. 12
10 KING’S SPEECH ** Another last start Class 4 winner and that company seem this caper. 12
11 SHAHBAA * OK three back but has struggled since and may need easier. 33
12 MAGNIFICENT GOLD * Honest but needs easier company than this. 33
13 HIGHER SOUL ** Not a mile away last start and mile suits so can consider at value. 20

Race 10 Selections; 4 SNIP – 1 RIVER GOLDEN – 8 OPTIMUM STAR – 6 TAX FREE

Another relatively weak division of the Class 4 Poly sprints and as such it may pay to keep some handy Class 5 runners safe. Case in point is last start winner, OPTIMUM STAR, who is competitive in this company as a rule and his winning form will hold him in good stead here. But the horse with form on the board in this company is SNIP who gets his chance today. The 5YO had excuses last start not to win over 1000m and given he handles 1200m, he should be hardest to beat with a 3kg claim and gate 2 in his favour. The best horse in the race may be RIVER GOLDEN who doesn’t win out of turn (given he needs races to suits back markers) but in this field you would imagine he will have every chance if handy enough when things get serious late. MADE IN CHINA and TAX FREE both pulled up lame last start but could be considered on form prior.

Betting Strategy – SNIP win.

1 RIVER GOLDEN *** Swooper who will be running on strong in race run to suit. 6.00
2 MADE IN CHINA ** Gate a concern but excuses last start (lame) and can go forward and give a sight. 6.00
3 DESPACITO ** Just battling of late but works home well when having good day and race suits. 12
4 SNIP *** Excuses not to have won last start and 1200m no problem so must be respected. 4.00
5 NORTHERN SUN ** Solid without being a threat last start but can include in exotics. 12
6 TAX FREE ** Excuses last start (lame) but can consider on good form prior although gate can test. 8.00
7 DASH * Struggling. 50
8 OPTIMUM STAR *** Won well in Class 5 last start and this field is weak enough to follow. 8.00
9 SILVER SKY ** Competitive of late and gets blinkers added so worth thought. 12
10 HORSE KING * Battling and needs easier and longer. 33
11 ASTRA ** May need Class 5 to win but competitive last start and this is a weak field. 12
12 PERFECT COMMANDO * Another that needs Class 5 to win but could figure in exotics in this field. 12
13 RICH FORTUNE * Will be running on but eligible for Class 5. 33
14 JUSTICE LIGHT *** Disappointing last start and drawn wide but race suits and would have some say in the field if he gets a start. 8.00
