Trainer Jarett Rugg has struck form and his recent recruit Holy Flame could run well in Race 6, a FM 62 Handicap over 1800m at Flamingo Park on Monday.
The Mambo In Seattle filly was consistent in KwaZulu-Natal with Duncan Howells and there was clearly something amiss last time out when dropping out of it at the finish.
Holy Flame is clearly capable of winning a race like this from stall No 2 and Jared Penny should be able to give her every chance of doing so.
It is a competitive race but she could reward punters at what should be good Eachway odds.
Punters looking for bankers in the exotics may have no other real option than In The Jungle in Race 5. This seven-year-old gelding has improved with each run since joining trainer Cliffie Miller and his last performance saw him win over the this 1800m course and distance.
In Race 1 taking a Swinger with Gallagher and Kildonan Princess looks a good bet to take.
Gallagher showed good improvement on his local debut and should fight out the finish.
Kildonan Princess has been placed in a couple of KwaZulu-Natal maiden races on the Polytrack so should not have a problem being on the sand this time.
Trainer Stephen Lerena has done well when raiding the Northern Cape and he sends out quite a few raiders for this meeting.
Two who are worth including in all exotics are Supa Mufti in Race 3 and Lion King in Race 4.
