Smoke And Mirrors for punters at Kranji

Smoke And Mirrors for punters at Kranji

Larry Foley: Smoke And Mirrors can notch up a win at only his second visit to the racecourse.

Singapore – Racing at Kranji today offers only a moderate meeting, but given most races look to have only a few serious winning hopes on form, it come give punters the chance to find some winners.

The lack of depth in the Restricted Maiden field in Race 2 will give Smoke And Mirrors a chance to knock in a win at only his second start.

This New Zealand-bred three-year-old ran on well to just miss on debut over 1200m and with any luck in running from gate No 12, will be hard to hold out for Daniel Moor with the extra 200m in his favour.

The second maiden field, in Race 4, has only two or three serious hopes and while we will keep an eye on a couple of newcomers in Spirit Of Big Bang and Coming Up, Grand Choice is overdue a win, gets blinkers and looks extremely hard to beat with Benny Woodworth up.

In Race 3 Solo Sun looks well placed down in grade to win over 1700m on the Polytrack, while Super Posh has found a weak enough Class 4 field to make it back-to-back wins in the lucky last.

Best Bets: Smoke And Mirrors Race 2, Win, Solo Sun Race 3, Win and Everybody Happy Race 1, value.

Bankers for Jackpots: Race 5 – Field; Race  6: 1 and 2; Race 7: 3, 6 and 10: Race 8: 1, 3 and 8
