NICCI GARNER – Trainer Charles Laird and jockey Anton Marcus took home345 their fourth Cape Flying Championship trophy after Warm White Night held on to beat Blue Tiger by a neck in the region’s premier sprint at Kenilworth on Saturday.

MEL KAPLAN – Sunday sees the running of Michael Roberts Handicap, a listed event (race 7) over 1800m at Scottsville. The former multiple SA and UK Champion jockey won the race named in his honour with West Coast Gold last year and has entered the now seven-year-old for another crack at the race.
Sangria Girl has the class to win the Listed Sun Classsique Handicap.
JACK MILNER – Sangria Girl is sure to be a good price for Saturday’s Listed Cape Breeders Club Sun Classique Handicap over 2400m at Kenilworth tomorrow but she could provide wonderful value.
